Choose a different time period and describe what your character would have been like in that time period. 
Back before high school; the time period back where bullying & her depression settled in. Naomi’s self confidence slowly dies away day by day because of the bullying (which usually came from one person only – but they were good friends before), down & down to the point where depression starting to take over her mental stability and she started self harming. She hid it away from her family for many years, the only relative in her family who knew about her self harming was her sister.

Naomi had terrible self-esteem; her confidence being very low she became insecure about herself. Until when she joined high school; it became a new life – a door to a new, fresh start. Her confidence and self-esteem boosting day by day, replacing to what she lost those years ago and her depression now just a mind she overcame, where her self harm stopped completely. But yet; she tends to still hide the scars from her past; because she’s scared it will happen again. She’s scared it’ll come back – she’s scared to go back in time.
