In what ways is Naomi self-destructive, if at all? What triggers them?

Indeed Naomi can be self-destructive.

Even though it is was rare after she escaped from her depression years ago after finishing primary school, however since the start of the outbreak; her self-destructive mannerism slowly starts to come back to her, and bit by bit.

To trigger Naomi, it would take the subject ‘self-harm & suicide’, her insecurites acting up (whether it’s her depression acting up once again, or that someone points out one of her biggest insecurites) and lastly, if she’s left alone for too long.

Why self-harm & suicide? Naomi had depression. In her time of depression, she took up self-harming; and this would’ve happened at least twice a day. If she felt worse, she’d do much more like she wasn’t going to live the next day. Luckily however — sometimes those scars never made a mark on her skin. As for suicide, Naomi had suicidal thoughts, which would last for an hour, or more if she hadn’t had anything to take her mind off it. If her suicide thoughts had continued, her anxiety attacks would’ve happened, and would have to lock herself in her room until she calms down. So with that subject being brought up at any time, or if her scars had been spotted by anyone, she would’ve snapped and  acted like nothing happened. Unless it is soeone she could trust — other than her sister.

Why insecurites? Naomi is sensitive. So if anyone pointed out her biggest insecurites, or even mocks her insecurity, she’d distant herself away from that said person who mocked her and she’d believe herself she is not good for herself, or for anyone else — if it was serious, it can end her up in tears.

Lastly, why being alone for too long? Naomi’s biggest fear is being alone. She hates being alone before the outbreak; but as the outbreak started it eventually grew worse & worse. She grew so dependent on her older siblings & to groups she’s been with here and there and she tried to stick with other people. Of course; no matter who she stays with — she’ll end up alone in the end.
